Hazel Sharp - Business Development & Client Services Director
Hazel is a CIM-qualified marketer with full membership of the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) and associate membership of the MRS (Market Research Society).
Hazel spent over 20 years in the financial services sector, employed in a variety of roles including product development, social and market research and in-house management consultancy. Hazel switched to the private rented sector in 2005 from Nationwide Building Society, joining at.home nationwide as Sales Manager.
This role saw Hazel responsible for the lettings, block management and holiday homes functions of the at.home business. Following Nationwide’s sale of the at.home portfolio to the Terrace Hill Group in 2006, she then played a pivotal role in transferring the management business to ARIM processes and systems during 2007.
Responsibilities included the outsourcing of the in-house lettings function to a network of local letting agents and the transfer of the holiday homes business, as well as client management and business development.
Hazel established ARIM’s new Glasgow-based operation early in 2008 and was appointed Business Development Director of ARIM in May 2008. She now has responsibility for ARIM’s group-wide business development activities and supporting marketing initiatives, as well as overall responsibility for the Glasgow-based operation.
Since January 2010, responsibilities also include client services management.
