Clive Marcoft - Consultant
Clive Marcroft was born in Sussex in 1946 and was educated at Chatham House
Grammar School, Ramsgate. He is MRICS qualified (1967) having studied whilst in
the employment of The Greater London Council.
He held various senior posts there until he was appointed Valuer & Estates Surveyor to the Inner London Education Authority in 1986. In 1989 he moved to the private sector, specialising in the acquisition, development and management of residential investment portfolios and spent some 10 years in the Business Expansion Scheme industry.
He was appointed General Manager of the fore-runner to ARIM in 1999. As Professional Head of Operations at that time he was responsible for quality of service delivery to corporate, investment and private clients holding residential portfolios or blocks managed by the Company.
He has wide ranging experience as a general practice surveyor extending over a period in excess of 40 years, 10 of which were as Property Director with ARIM. Clive retired as Property Director at the end of April 2011 but continues as a Consultant.
