Joanna Upton - Client Services Manager
Prior to joining ARIM as Property Manager in 2002, Jo worked for 4 ½ years as Rent Officer, based in East Sussex. The appointment as a Statutory Rent Officer included responsibility for the valuation of Assured and Assured Shorthold Tenancies for Housing Benefit purposes, assessment of Local Reference Rents, Fair Rent valuations and Maximum Fair Rent Calculations, as well as chairing of Consultation meetings, property inspection reports and surveys.
Experienced in all aspects of residential sales, appraisals and lettings since 1989, Jo has worked as both a Senior Negotiator and Branch Manager for a number of local estate agents as well as running her own business.
Since joining ARIM Jo has achieved a distinction in ARLA and taken part in numerous courses and training, as well as delivering in house tenancy training across all tenure types.
Now appointed as a Client Services Manager based in Brighton, working alongside and managing a team of 9, including 2 Senior Property Managers, 6 Property Managers and a Property Inspector. The team manage all tenure types, as well as undertaking block management and are collectively dedicated to a single large Investor Client.
